Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrops of silicified calcareous claystones of the Rohatec Beds. Claystones contain rich fauna, mostly marine echinoids anbd pelecypods. This fauna evidences a Coniacian age. Stratigraphically and paleontologically important locality.
